With experience managing technology accounts for diverse territories (Globally), Debabrata Biswal is a Senior Executive at HCL. As the head of the telecom vertical in the Americas, Debabrata Biswal applies more than two decades of experience in senior corporate sales to furnish sales growth strategies for large enterprise accounts. Since joining HCL in 2017, He has secured contracts worth of almost $480 million with the Telcos and MSOs and conceptualized/finalized a 189 Million Dollar “digital transformation” project for a Large “retail” client.

Prior to joining HCL, Debabrata Biswal served as an associate vice president at Infosys Heading entire existing engagements for their Telco customers. From 2010 to 2015, He worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where He led complex and evolving businesses in the North American communications and technology vertical.

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Biswal joined Tata Consultancy Services and later took on the role of a principal consultant at TATA Consultancy Services, where, among his activities, he was instrumental in building the Telecom Practice at TCS and part of their Telecom Vertical heading all of Communications specific accounts in East Coast of USA. He prepared for his career by earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
